They have a Good Technical Support department, and have the experience of working with thousands of scooter owners. They've seen it and heard it all, from crashes to bad product to 1000's of miles of use... and they can easily help you with any problems you may have!

They are sometimes difficult to get on the phone. If you need support, the faster you create a ticket, the better! Get into the support process and get products shipped out to you ASAP! The more detailed your ticket about the actual scooter, the faster it gets solved!

  Assembly and Troubleshooting

If there are no instructions for your scooter, find the model closest to yours and look at those assembly instructions (ex. XG-470 no instructions, but the X-360 is a very similar model and does have assembly instructions).


  Ship Damage (X-Treme Scooters)

Unfortunately it happens, especially in those weeks right around Christmas. The holiday overload is rough on FedEx Ground.

Damage that occurs during shipping and handling is not covered under the X-Treme Warranty, but is usually processed and repair parts are sent by X-Treme Scooters. Create a ticket with them and get support as soon as possible. If you are not sure if your product was damaged through shipping, please check the X-Treme scooter support site. We would appreciate your patience throughout this process. This process does work (sometimes slowly) and people get replacement parts to fix their scooters.

You can also process a claim directly with FedEx. We recommend you at least call FedEx (1-800-463-3339) and try to make a FedEx friend who can help you. We have known reships to process even faster if you have/make a FedEx friend.

Unapproved scooter & pocket bike returns are not allowed. Any scooter or pocket bike that arrives at our warehouse without an authorized RMA number on the outside of the shipping carton will be refused. The key word there is 'Unapproved'. Due to abuse and low margins in this online scooter industry, the business model does not support a 911, no-questions asked, scooter return center.

Scooter Jones reserves the right to explore the different avenues of repair and if the scooter still does not work, tech support will issue you a RMA# to return the scooter to the warehouse. The ticket support system, though slow, does work, and we have seen many customers be able to fix their scooters, and others get RMA #'s and replacement scooters.

Take the scooter fully out of the box and examine it. Assemble it and record any damage. If you need support or parts, the faster you create a ticket, the better! The more detailed and descriptive your ticket is about your exact scooter behavior, the faster it gets solved!

Please don't try get an RMA# by demanding an RMA#, or solely by expressing your frustration.  These forms of communication are for you, and not tech support.

If you can only contact Tech Support and demand a replacement scooter, they cannot help you fix your scooter. If they cannot be fully educated about your scooter (by your communication), tech support cannot issue a RMA#.  They can only respond that 'Unapproved returns are not allowed.'  They need a stable, slow description on operation of the scooter and a good time to contact you.  The better your description, the faster their response.  Once tech support explores the different avenues of repair and if the scooter still does not work, they will issue you a RMA# to return the scooter to the warehouse.

 Ship Damage (Razor Scooters)

Razor scooters very very rarely have shipping damage, due to their supreme packaging. This makes Razor scooters a good, safe purchase around the Holidays.
